This fall brought alumni and scholars together for numerous gatherings both in Dallas and elsewhere.
In October, scholars and alumni got together in Washington D.C. - the DC cohort regularly has events, so make sure the Alumni Association has your updated location if you'd like to get invitations!
The Alumni Relations Committee of the McDermott Scholars Program helped organize an informal ice cream social in November at Braum's near UT Dallas. Scholars from all classes mingled with in-town alums who were able to join.
At the end of November, alumni got together for the Dallas Arboretum's 12 Days of Christmas exhibit. After an evening tour of the beautifully lit gazebos, the Cokers hosted alumni for hot cocoa, cider, and more socializing.
Lastly, the Alumni Association closed out 2018 with its annual Alumni Potluck and White Elephant Gift Exchange. Alums brought an assortment of delicious treats, catching up over food before exchanging a variety of creative and fun gifts.
2018 has been a fantastic year for the Alumni Association - we hope to see many of you at future events, and wish everyone a wonderful holiday!
